Job Description:
Our Ottawa based client is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Support resource for a 40 day period commencing from contract award plus 2 optional 40 day periods.

Candidates must possess Enhanced Reliabiity Government Security .

Tasks include:
a) “As-Is” Architecture for each of the architecture domains;
b) “To-Be” Architecture for each of the architecture domains;
c) Migration Plans to achieve the “To-Be” architecture for each architecture domains;
d) Architecture Requirements document, including requirements prioritization approach, identifying where the organization needs to focus its work regarding architecture;
e) Architecture Standards and Guidelines for each architecture domain including overall Enterprise Architecture. This could include modelling formats and conventions, development approach, reference model, etc.;
f) EA Communication Plan;
g) EA Growth Strategy describing how the PSC EA Program should evolve over time to become fully mature within the organization ;
h) Operating Processes for EA Program, including EA Performance Measures and EA Repository, describing how the different services of the EA Program are delivered;
i) Architecture Models as required;
j) Work Plans and Schedules describing what work will be done, how and when it will be done;
k Written advice, analysis and recommendations;
l) Training and Knowledge transfer to PSC employees;
m) Bi-weekly status reports;
n) Reports, briefings and presentations; and
o) Other related deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have::

demonstrated experience in the capture, documentation and prioritization of Architecture Requirements

demonstrated experience in the development, recommendation and implementation of architecture standards and/or guidelines, including modelling standards and conventions

demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of an Enterprise Architect Program.

demonstrated experience in communicating about Enterprise Architecture, including the development of an Enterprise Architecture communication plan and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders.

demonstrated experience in the development of an Enterprise Architecture Program Growth Strategy

demonstrated experience in the development, documentation and implementation of operating processes for Enterprise Architecture services.
